Q: What is a SoloShare?
A: It is a one-week CSA share. It is similar to a "bundle" you can get at a grocery store. You get a group of items at a discount; the more you purchase, the greater the discount.
Q: Who can purchase a SoloShare?
A: Everyone! You do not need to be a past CSA member to take part in our SoloShare season. It's perfect for someone who wants to "try out" our CSA, current members who don't want the season to end, and customers who love a good bargain.
Q: How long does the SoloShare Season last?
A: Our first SoloShare pick up is Tuesday, October 16. We will continue weekly pick ups until the week of Thanksgiving or we have a hard freeze that kills our crops.
Q: Do I have to purchase a SoloShare every week?
A: No! You may purchase one every week, but you don't have to. You may purchase as many or as few as you'd like. The best part is that you don't have to decide now. You can decide each week if your family needs more fresh produce and sign up accordingly.
Q: What is included in my SoloShare?
A: While the options will vary from week to week, they will always include our freshest produce, cheese, and a baked good. Examples of items are 4oz greens, 6 carrots, 8 turnips, 4 bell peppers, 4oz cheese, and 6 cinnamon rolls.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: You have five SoloShare size options. The more items you select, the greater the discount.

Q: How do I get my SoloShare?
A: There are three options to get your SoloShare:
Tuesday 3:30-6 at ARNKA Acres, Wednesday 2:30-3 in Grundy Center and 3:30-4 delivery in Dike, and every other Wednesday 4:30-5:15 at McKenna Pro Imaging in Waterloo. When you sign up for the SoloShare, you choose how you'd like to get it. You may change locations as often as needed throughout the SoloShare season.
Q: How do I sign up?
A: Pre-registration is required each week. Each Wednesday, I will post a link for the next SoloShare. If you are on our email list, the link will be sent to you. Otherwise you may click the link here (the link will go live on Wednesday, October 10) to go to the registration form. Registration form needs to be filled out 24 hours before you pick it up/it is delivered.
